Signs can be blasted from either cedar or redwood, which gives a vertical grain. Foam can simulate more of a stone background or the same vertical background as
cedar and redwood, whichever the preference. For signs with a light colored background, we recommend foam with a stone background so dirt does not collect in the grain and wash down
the face.
